Position: Principal Data Engineer

Location: Onsite 2 a week in Sunnyvale

Rate: 75-85/hr

Duration: 6 month contract to hire

Iv Process: Two steps both with code challenges

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Working on an initiative that brings Cost optimization and cloud optimization initiatives to the forefront. A lot of the work is around CRM automation and acceleration into newer tech stacks. For a principal data engineer you will be responsible 70 percent for non technical jobs such as code reviews, gaining funds and grounds on your initiatives, mentoring junior level developers, responsible for operational excellence on a team and be held responsible for coming up with designs to decrease costs, increase cloud usage and get buy in for your product. 30 percent of your time will be centered around coding both utilizing data structures to help mentor jr. devs and solving use cases in production.
