***This requisition's current PO is funded through 6/30/25, so use that date in the RTR. Contract end date is dependent on the final schedule and projected needs. Historically additional funding should then last a year and occur from 7/1/25-6/30/26.*** In summary, the project issoftware that we will be taking over from a vendor. The application waswritten in Ruby on Rails and was running on AWS. PennDOT wants to port it overto .NET and run it on Azure. PennDOT will need a developer with Ruby on Rails experience that will help us with translating and rewriting the application on the new platform.

Candidates willwork under the direction of the project's Technical Lead and ApplicationArchitect to analyze, write, test, and document code to implement systemfeatures and enhancements to convert an Amazon Web Services (AWS) to Azurecloud.

Work hours are Monday Friday, 8:30am 5:00pm excluding state holidays for a maximum of 40 hours/week. Lunch is 12:00 12:30. The contract assumes an additional 80 hours of unpaid leave in addition to the above per state fiscal year.

In order to deter a fake candidate scam the candidate must present a valid photo ID to the camera at the beginning of the interview.
