LOCATION: 168 Third Avenue, Waltham, MA 02451

TITLE: Manager, IT/Senior Systems Analyst

HOURS: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

DUTIES: Support Thermo Fisher's integration of Tracelink (Track and Trace Solution) and Thermo Fisher's downstream partners to ensure Thermo Fisher is compliant with Serialization and Track and Trace requirements and detailing the technical solution which includes developing relationships with Business Projects, surfacing unmet IT needs and project requests.
Collaborate with internal customers, Brand Owner/Client, third party vendors and cross-functional analysts to define business needs and implement business critical systems in packaging, distribution and commercial business areas.
Capture business requirements and to document custom configuration needs.
Review, analyze, and modify systems to system based on business needs for the PSG Manufacturing Pharma 4.0 IT program for new and existing sites in the Thermo Fisher Pharma Services Group (PSG) division.
Manage multiple business critical GMP system analyst activities in a global network.
Oversee technical installation of Manufacturing Operational Technology (OT) hardware and software solutions that support Pharma Services Group (PSG) GxP compliant systems, including the following examples of OT devices: Manufacturing Execution Systems, Computerized Maintenance Monitoring Systems, Advanced Analytic Systems, and Serialization Systems.
Gather, analyze, and document Functional and technical requirements for business/IT system to ensure effective solutions delivery.
Interface directly with the Thermo Fisher Corporate Pharma 4.0 IT group to provide GMP compliant system solutions.
Develop and maintain standards that support GMP Manufacturing systems that are in alignment with GMP quality policies and procedures.
Determine and document processes work instructions and SOPs impacted by business needs.
Author and Execute Installation Qualification (IQ), Operational Qualification (OQ), and Performance Qualification (PQ) protocols.
Develop Test Scripts, Test Cases and Test Plans for Functional Unit Testing, Integration, Testing and User Acceptance Testing for Pharma Validation process
Travel: Up to 25% domestic and international travel required. Telecommuting Employee: Reports to company headquarters in Waltham, MA. Can work remotely or telecommute.

REQUIREMENTS: MINIMUM Education Requirement: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field of study. MINIMUM Experience Requirement: 5 years of experience as a Systems Analyst, or related experience.
