Description

Sensor technology scoping and proof-of-concept investigationsSupport Product definition, Market Surveys, Competitive AnalysisCollaborate across the board, with different technology teams to evaluate the System design options & trade-offsCross-functional leadership, guidance and mentoring to engineersSensor & Module design and modelingEnd-to-end application (sensor, signal processing, ASIC, algorithm configurations) definition and designOversee complete module design and execution, tracking various architectural and execution risks, schedule and inter-team collaborationReview and/or define algorithms for various signal and noise conditioning requirements -Design, prototyping and integration of Sensor, (rigid / flexible) PCBs and ASIC application -Optimize design across multi-disciplinary boundaries (e.g., Mechanical, Materials, Process, FW/SW/ Algorithms, Cal /Test, Reliability, Operations)Failure mode analysis, root cause diagnosis, and system-level problem solving -Statistical data analysis and data miningDesign analysis, characterization, and validationBusiness travel to support product development

Minimum Qualifications

• BS and a minimum of 10 years relevant industry experience

Key Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong logical thought process and analytical skill set. Ability to break-down complex problems fundamental blocks that can be analyzed via understanding of electro-magnetic interactions
• Electrical engineering background in analog and mixed-signal design, especially board-level circuits
• Hands-on experience in system-level design
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and solid teamwork and leadership skills
• Proficiency in FEA (Comsol, ANSYS, Maxwell) MATLAB, SPICE, or similar simulation and modeling tools

• At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $166,600 and $296,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
