Job Details

Location: hybrid in Seattle area

Duration: 12+ month contract

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Opportunity to gather, organize, analyze, and visualize data from various systems to tell impactful stories and provide insight to decision making. This position will report directly to the Sr. PMO Manager and will work with departments.
  • Drive critical thinking and insight into challenging, unstructured decisions and problems and work with leaders in the project to bring those insights into action
  • Partner with various corporate groups (Finance, HR, IT, etc.) to provide needed data and information, as well as ensuring smooth operational support from them
  • Provides guidance and support toward project strategies and processes, creates metric definition and analysis, monitoring, documentation as well as root-cause analysis, and best practices
  • Design and develop insightful analytics deliverables, projections, and target settings, via a variety of statistical tools and techniques including capturing requirements, data profiling, data modeling, data analysis, statistical analysis, predictive modeling, use case definition, data visualization, and data storytelling
  • Develop compelling narratives to convey the relevant data-driven insights to influence, motivate, and inform project stakeholders
  • Capture, synthesize, and interpret disparate quantitative data within the context of project and business objectives, identify trends, and explore data through subprojects, partners, and responsible leads
  • Drive design and development of statistical frameworks and approaches to provide stakeholders with advanced insights richer than typical, rule-driven analytics and dashboards
  • Collaborate with IT stakeholders to provide requirements for data pipeline and Data Warehouse implementation.
  • Continuously drive internal SDLC process improvements and establish best practices in various data management areas to mature data and analytics practices. Create, deploy, manage and support various project dashboards, reports, and visualizations in Power BI Service

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 5 years of related Business Intelligence experience
  • Bachelor s degree in statistics, business analytics, data science, or equivalent quantitative field
  • Experience designing, building, and managing dashboards, reports, and datasets in Power BI Service
  • Experience using Power Query and Power Pivot in MS Excel, as well as other advanced features of MS Excel such as VBA, advanced formulas, and more is required.
  • Experience with data warehouse design and data governance best practices preferred.
  • Working knowledge of project controls tools, including scheduling and EVMS tools and project control requirements is a plus
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, Visio, and MS Project.
  • Experience with Atlassian tools such as Confluence and JIRA a bonus
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills required
  • Strong communication skills
