Job Details

We are looking for a highly experienced and detail-oriented Payroll Systems Analyst. As a functional expert in the Time and Attendance Solution, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with payroll business rules and enhancing system functionality. This position requires strong analytical skills, effective testing methodologies, and the ability to collaborate with various departments to support our payroll processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a functional expert on the Time and Attendance Solution, focusing on: entitlement policies, pay and compliance rules, mobile application setup, Union configuration and scheduling and Reporting and basic clock functionality
  • Apply payroll business rules effectively within the time and attendance solution.
  • Utilize testing methodologies to ensure system functionality aligns with business requirements by working with the Jira application to develop test scenarios and scripts, documenting test steps, expected results, pass/fail criteria and recording and managing defects using Rational Team Concept (RTC).
  • Create and maintain comprehensive process documentation.
  • Develop supporting documents for training purposes, facilitate meetings, and provide application demonstrations for diverse audiences.
  • Provide end-user support throughout all implementation phases, ensuring a seamless transition and adoption of the system.
  • Act as a liaison with key customers in related departments to address concerns and foster collaboration.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to identify gaps in existing solutions and assist in the development of preventive measures.
  • Consolidate data from multiple sources to determine root causes and appropriate actions for special payroll projects.
  • Perform analyses and special project work related to payroll, offering recommendations based on findings.
  • Develop action plans to resolve issues while ensuring project deadlines are met.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree preferred in a relevant field.
  • SAP Payroll experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of business experience, with at least 1 year in HR/PR-related roles.
  • Strong testing skills, including experience with writing scripts, user acceptance testing, and integration/deployment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to summarize and articulate issues for quick decision-making.
  • Proven ability to self-manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a project-driven environment.
  • Strong drive for results and proactive problem-solving abilities
