Position : Network IOT Platform Engineer (Senior Network Testing Engineer)

Location : New York, NY

Duration : Fulltime Permanent

Day 1 Onsite

Position Description:

Years of exp Required: 6-12 Years

Technical/Functional Skills:

• 8+ Years of experience with LAN/WAN network design, engineering, and certification.
• CCIE/CCNP Level of experience
• Experience with building Lab designs, and certification of hardware and software of products, performing PoCs.
• Strong knowledge of OSPF, BGP, MPLS, IPSEC, QoS, L2/L3 VXLAN, Multicast
• Knowledge of Software Defined Access, LISP, VXLAN, SD-WAN
• Knowledge of Firewalls, Cisco DNA Center, and Cisco ISE.
• Hands-on experience on Cisco IOS-XE, Nexus Devices.
• Python Network programming knowledge is a plus.
• Knowledge in Agile process is required.
• Work under minimal supervision
• Experience in using test tools like Ixia/Spirent, Latency generators, Wireshark
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills
• Collaborate and co-ordinate with Network and Security teams, and vendors.
• Ability to deal with multiple projects and prioritize the tasks and work under minimal supervision
• Excellent communication skills a MUST

Skills Required:

• Excellent Knowledge of Network protocols BGP, OSPF, Spanning Tree protocol, Multicast
• Design and troubleshoot Cisco, Arista Network platforms and protocols
• IP Routing Platforms: ISR, ASR1K, ASR9K, Catalyst 9K, Nexus9K
• Multicast: IGMPv2/v3, PIM, Static RP, RP-Anycast
• Overlay technologies like IPSEC, DMVPN, VXLAN, SDWAN, SDA, MACSEC
• Cabling and optics 10/25G/40G/50G/100G Break out cables, break out panels.
• Ansible knowledge a huge plus
• ISE knowledge a plus
