Description:
  • This is Day 1 onsite in Buffalo, NY or Chicago, IL
  • We are looking for a talented, experienced IT Operations and Support Lead to join our team
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing IT operations while also possessing scripting and/or software skills
  • The role will primarily focus on IT operations, platforms and infrastructure but will involve some DevOps and Site Reliability work

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support day-to-day
  • IT operations, ensuring smooth and efficient systems and networks functioning and driving continuous improvement through established IT performance metrics Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement IT solutions that enhance
  • efficiency and support company objectives
  • Maintenance of the company's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and databases
  • Maintain and migrate on-premises data centers to other facilities and/or the cloud
  • Troubleshoot breakdowns and perform preventive maintenance by monitoring network stability and performance
  • Ensure the scalability, availability, and security of our systems, leveraging industry best practices
  • Manage and administer various software applications and systems critical to the business,
  • Implement robust security measures to protect the company's data and infrastructure from potential threats and breaches
  • HIPAA/PCI compliance Collaborate with the development and DevOps teams to integrate IT solutions seamlessly
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in IT operations,
  • infrastructure management, or systems administration, preferably within a healthcare environment
  • Proven experience in IT operations management with a strong understanding of networking, systems, and security, particularly in a fully remote work environment
  • Proven experience with physical data center maintenance and migration required
  • Experience with endpoint protection and cloud backup SaaS tools
  • Exposure to tools such as TeamViewer
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Bash
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced and dynamic remote work environment
  • Familiarity with HIPAA and other healthcare-related regulatory and compliance requirements
