Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking an On-Board Test Equipment Subcontract Management Team (SMT) Manager 2. This position is located in Roy, UT and supports the Sentinel program.

What You'll Get To Do:
  • Will be tasked with contract execution for the On-Board Test Equipment (OBTE) Integrated Product Team (IPT).
  • Will act across multiple organizations to drive startup, execution, and closing of subcontracts across the life of the Sentinel Engineering Manufacturing and Design (EMD) phase of the Sentinel Program.
  • Responsible for the management and execution of the several subcontracts for the OBTE IPT at SDS currently being performed across the US.
  • Stand up / manage and coordinate program management and technical meetings with SDS personnel and subcontract POCs.
  • Responsible for SDS resource management and coordination supporting the subcontract (I.e. SDS Business Mgmt., SDS security, Sys. Engineering, Test, Specialties Coordination...etc.).
  • Maintain / Flow down of Prime Statement of Work (SOW) and Spec Requirements as required ensuring program compliance.
  • Prime POC for major program event/activities and Event Coordination with subcontractor and SDS, as required.
  • SDRL review and approval, Design action tracking closure and coordination with SDS stakeholders.
  • Primary CAM for Subcontractor Work Packages and Program Cost and Schedule Baseline Impacts.
  • Responsible for conveying active issue resolution and management up through AVE and Customer Channels.
  • Coordination and integration of TRB/CCB packages from suppliers up through AVE and program boards.
  • Lead, facilitate, weekly subcontractor technical and program management meetings.

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

You'll Bring These Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree and 6 years of related experience, or master's degree with a minimum of 4 years of experience, or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree
  • Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need
  • Minimum of 2 years of proven demonstrated leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience leading a project and/or driving performance against cost and schedule.
  • Minimum of 1 year working with suppliers through contract execution (startup, executing, and completion).
  • Ability and willingness to travel 25% of the time.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
  • 1+ years of managing a subcontractor, or several contractors, with multiple deliverables
  • Experience in writing and executing Supplier Statement(s) of Work
  • Knowledge of Earned Value Management and Integrated Master Schedules
  • Knowledge on contracts, government rights assertions, and security classifications

Salary Range: $131,200 - $196,800
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
