Job Type: Contract (Long Term)

We are looking for an experienced Neo4j Developer to join our team on a contract basis. You will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of Neo4j graph databases, as well as integrating them into enterprise-level applications. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of graph databases, Cypher query language, and experience in developing highly scalable database solutions.

  • Design and develop graph database models using Neo4j.
  • Write, optimize, and execute Cypher queries to manipulate and query data.
  • Integrate Neo4j with backend services and applications.
  • Develop database schemas and structures to meet project requirements.
  • Monitor and improve database performance, including query optimization.
  • Collaborate with data engineers, architects, and software developers to ensure the seamless integration of Neo4j.
  • Participate in troubleshooting and debugging of database-related issues.
  • Provide documentation, technical specifications, and best practices for database management.
  • Work with the project team to deliver solutions within time and scope constraints.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience working with Neo4j or other graph databases.
  • Proficiency in Cypher Query Language (CQL).
  • Experience in database design, development, and performance tuning.
  • Familiarity with backend technologies and their integration with graph databases (e.g., Java, Python, Node.js).
  • Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and graph theory.
  • Experience with large-scale data management and processing.
  • Knowledge of NoSQL databases and experience working in big data environments.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.

  • Experience with Neo4j database administration and maintenance.
  • Hands-on experience with Graph Data Science (GDS) libraries.
  • Familiarity with APOC procedures and graph algorithms.
  • Prior experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
