Who Are We Looking For?

We are seeking an AWS DevOps Engineer to join our Cloud Operations Program. The ideal candidate is passionate about technology and has a proven track record of developing and managing cutting-edge cloud solutions. This role requires a strong foundation in AWS cloud operations and expertise in DevOps practices, automation, and infrastructure management.


Technical Skills:

  • Experience:

    • 5-7 years of IT industry experience with a focus on Cloud/DevOps/Kubernetes.
    • Demonstrated expertise in AWS Cloud Operations.
  • Infrastructure and Automation:

    • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) frameworks like Terraform and CloudFormation.
    • Experience in implementing and maintaining cloud policies and guardrails.
    • Ability to identify, build, and manage automation clusters to enhance cloud operations, including creating reporting dashboards.
  • DevOps Tools and Platforms:

    • Strong knowledge of DevOps Platforms and tools.
    • Experience with configuration management and automation tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
    • Scripting skills in languages such as Python or PowerShell.
  • Storage and Monitoring:

    • Strong understanding of storage technologies (e.g., Object Store, NFS, S3, SANs, EMC, HPE).
    • Proficiency in monitoring tools like ELK Stack, Grafana, Dynatrace, or Datadog.
  • Application Security:

    • Knowledge of application security protocols (B2C, B2B, SAML, OAuth).
  • Additional Expertise:

    • Environmental analysis to identify architectural improvements.
    • Hands-on experience with patch management, migrations, upgrades, and assessments.
    • Ability to implement and contribute to best practices in cloud operations.

Process Skills:

  • Experience conducting consultative engagements, such as environmental assessments and estate-wide remediation plans.
  • Exposure to support and capability-building activities.
  • Awareness of industry trends, technology innovations, and evolving customer requirements for continual service improvement.

Behavioral Skills:

  • Effective interpersonal and team-building skills.
  • Strong communication abilities to collaborate across teams and stakeholders.

Preferred Certification:

  • AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Associate or Professional.
