The Senior Advanced Analytics Application Developer in Global Operations and Supply Chain is tasked with creating and managing analytics applications on the Microsoft Power Platform, catering to various COEs and enhancing operational insights and tools. This individual will handle application requirements, adapt data extraction procedures for team standards, develop sophisticated data visualizations and apps, and collaborate closely with Data Engineering and Subject Matter Expert teams to build tools that streamline processes and generate customer-aligned insights.

We are seeking a dedicated professional to deliver outstanding customer service and demonstrate a diverse skill set. The ideal candidate will have expertise in SQL and DAX coding, data model design, and a strong understanding of various data sources. Proficiency in Power BI development is essential. We value self-initiative, effective team collaboration, and excellent communication skills. Empathy for end users is crucial to ensure continuous improvements and a satisfactory user experience. Timely delivery of solutions is a key aspect of this role.

Location: Open to fully remote for the right candidate, but we prefer location near any US based Medtronic facility.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
  • Develops, inspects, mines, transforms, and models data to raise productivity, improve decision making, and gain competitive advantage using Power BI and Microsoft Power Platforms.
  • Develops new analytical solutions using Power BI.
  • Conducts statistical analysis on data and information to ensure correct predictive forecasting or classification.
  • Manages all aspects of end-to-end data processing utilizing customized report building functions of systems.
  • Maintains analytical systems, verifies the accuracy of the data, and acts as a liaison to the business.


Must Have: Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree Required
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience or Advanced Degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
  • Experience with Power BI and Microsoft Power Platforms


Nice to Have

Preference will be given to applicants who possess the following skills, experiences, and certifications:
  • Ability to influence decisions and drive projects to completion
  • SQL or Snowflake Developer
  • Developer experience with Power Apps
  • Power Automate experience
  • Experience working in an Agile environment
  • Experience in a regulated environment like Medical Device, etc.
  • UI/UX Design

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$93,600.00 - $140,400.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
