TSS -Java Lead Developer

Location: Remote

Duration: 1 Year

Rate: $50/hr.

Work Type: W2

Job Description: TechSun Soft is seeking a strong Java Lead Developer to support various IT initiatives, including web applications, backend services, and system integrations.
The Lead Developer will contribute to all phases of development and may mentor a team of developers, driving creativity, scalability, and best practices across projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Business Analysts, Project Managers, and Architects to understand requirements.
  • Perform hands-on coding assignments.
  • Write and execute unit tests for implemented code.
  • Identify and resolve application bugs.
  • Participate in design phases and prepare design documentation for assigned modules.
  • Automate build and release pipelines.
  • Implement automated test cases to speed up post-deployment testing.
  • Support IT teams with ad hoc queries and reports.
  • Mentor junior developers on best practices and technical skills.

Required Skills:

  • Strong hands-on experience with Java 18/21.
  • Deep expertise in Spring Frameworks and Spring Boot.
  • Proficient in designing and implementing Microservices.
  • Solid experience in developing RESTful Web Services.
  • Strong SQL skills, preferably with Oracle or SQL Server
  • Familiar with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
  • Experience with Docker Containers and containerization best practices.
  • Solid unit testing using JUnit, Sonar for code quality.
  • Experience with client-side frameworks like React (preferred).
  • Familiarity with Maven/Gradle for build automation.
  • Skilled with Git-based repositories like GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket.

Education & Years Experience:

  • Bachelor s degree in information technology or related field.
  • 8-10 years of total experience in IT
