JD:

Typical duties and responsibilities

Manage, configure, and automate OpenShift environments to support scalable application development and deployment.

Collaborate with development teams to integrate and deploy applications within the OpenShift environment.

Implement and maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.

Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues and ensure high availability of the OpenShift platform.

Optimize and scale OpenShift clusters to enhance performance and efficiency.

Develop and maintain documentation related to system configurations and processes.

Offer technical support and guidance to teams on OpenShift best practices and troubleshooting.

Keep current with emerging technologies and industry trends related to OpenShift, Kubernetes and DevOps best practices.

Implement security measures to protect applications and infrastructure within the OpenShift environment.

Required skills and experience

3-5 years of experience in DevOps, with a focus on OpenShift or other container orchestration platforms.

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.

Expertise in managing OpenShift clusters and containerized applications.

Experience with CI/CD tools and processes like Jenkins, GitLab or CircleCI.

Strong knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.

Familiarity with scripting languages such as Bash, Python or Groovy.

Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.

Strong knowledge of networking, security protocols and Linux-based system administration.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
