Key Responsibilities:

• Kubernetes Management:
• Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes (OpenShift, EKS, AKS) clusters across AWS, Azure, or other cloud environments.

Service Mesh Implementation:

• Implement and maintain Service Mesh technologies (e.g., Istio, Gloo, or Kong) to enable secure and resilient service-to-service communication.

Microservices Optimization:

• Collaborate with software teams to design and optimize microservices architecture.

Infrastructure as Code:

• Develop IaC solutions using tools like Helm and Terraform.

Monitoring and Troubleshooting:

• Monitor and resolve performance, scalability, and reliability issues in Kubernetes setups.

Platform Security:

• Ensure platform security and compliance with industry best practices.

CI/CD Automation:

• Automate deployment, monitoring pipelines, and workflows with Jenkins.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Kubernetes Expertise: Extensive knowledge of Kubernetes architecture, deployment, and management in multi-cloud environments.
• Service Mesh Knowledge: Hands-on experience with Istio, Gloo, or Kong.
• Cloud Platforms: Proficiency with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• CI/CD Tools: Experience with Jenkins.
• Infrastructure as Code Tools: Proficiency in Terraform, Helm, etc.
• Observability Tools: Familiarity with Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, and Jaeger.
• Networking & Gateways: Strong understanding of networking concepts, load balancing, and API gateways.
• Scripting Skills: Knowledge of Python, Go, or Shell scripting.
• Container Security: Familiarity with container security tools.
• Experience: 3+ years as a Platform Engineer or equivalent role.
