Metric5 is seeking a Map Service Center Lead.
Description:
Serve as the team Lead overseeing all aspects of the project.
Analyze project-related problems and create innovative solutions that may involve the schedule, technology, methodology, tools, and solution components of the project.
Responsible for delivering and meeting contractual Service Level Agreements.
Conduct Quality Management for Flood Risk Projects on final regulatory products submitted via the Mapping Information Platform.
Monitor and support Letter of Map Change (LOMC)and support the resolution of missing, incorrect, or appealed LOMC in repositories and databases.
Send final digital regulatory product files to National Archives and Records Administration (NARA).
Send monthly community record updates to Community Information System for new map issuances.
Send monthly Customer database extracts to power users to communicate community map dates and product relationships.
Reproduce FIRM panel and FIS report for each affected community and ship the products to the community Chief Executive Officer.
Update the Geoindex for each effective date.
Process Notice-to-User revisions. Conduct quality checks, reproduce Notice-to-User, ship to community officials, and publish to the Customer website.
Edit and update the inventory in response to customer feedback and requests, which is captured primarily by the Customer Contact Center.
Required skills/Level of Experience:
At least 3 years' experience supervising staff.
At least 3 years' experience using written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to work independently.
Strong analytical & problem-solving skills.
Experience working with or for federal agency.
Possession or ability to obtain and maintain the required a favorably adjudicated DHS Public Trust background investigation.
Preferred Skills/Level of Experience:
Experience working in an agile environment.
Experience working with application lifecycle management and tracking tools, such as Jira.
