We're looking for an Associate Director, IT Software Engineer to:

Design, develop and improve the digital products and technology services provided to the clients and employees.
Apply a broad range of software engineering techniques, from analyzing user needs and developing new features to automated testing, CI/CD and other DevOps practices.
Ensure the quality, security, reliability and compliance of our solutions by applying our digital principles and implementing both functional and non-functional requirements.
Build observability into solutions, monitor production health, help to resolve incidents and remediate the root cause of risks and issues.
Learn new technologies and practices, reuse strategic platforms and standards, evaluate options and make decisions with long-term sustainability in mind.
Work in an agile way as part of multi-disciplinary teams, participate in agile ceremonies and collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers and others.
Understand, represent and advocate for client needs.

Your expertise

Education & Experience Requirement
This position requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a Programmer Analyst, Senior Consultant, Senior Software Engineer or related role.

Position requires experience with the following:
development, design, maintenance and integration of software solutions
good scripting knowledge, including Groovy, Ruby, Ruby on Rails, SQL, and Java
experience with cloud based solutions
understanding of how to apply standards, methods, techniques and templates as defined by SDLC
test driven development and Agile delivery
continuous integration and continuous deployment using Jenkins/Ansible
usage of GIT for version control
application monitoring, with experience using tools such as SPLUNK, NETCOOL and MIRO
undertaking code reviews and conducting static code analysis using tools such as FindBugs
providing application support to end users and troubleshooting technical issues
managing relationships and coordinating activities with BAs, other developers and testers across global locations
driving and implementing good practices
