Role:
Delmock Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Data Analytics Specialist to serve as a key player in the design and implementation of enterprise-wide business intelligence and data solutions to support enterprise-wide analytics applications. This role requires expert-level knowledge of Oracle C2M and utilities application data structures, as well as extensive experience (7+ years) in implementing data solutions for Oracle utilities and billing applications. The candidate should have extensive experience in Oracle Primavera Analytics and knowledge in construction domain. The engineer will be responsible for developing and designing dashboard and reporting solutions that extract meaningful business insights from complex datasets. They will collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their analytical needs and translate those needs into effective BI solutions. This role requires expertise in various BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Oracle Analytics Cloud) and a deep understanding of data visualization best practices to deliver impactful and user-friendly dashboards and reports.

Responsibilities:
- Defines systemic or specific problems and analyzes and develops plans and requirements for execution or transformation in the subject matter area for moderately complex-to-complex systems.
- Coordinates and manages the preparation of analysis, evaluations, and recommendations for proper implementation of programs and systems specifications including, but not limited to Information Technology, business processes, utility services, human resources, public safety, procurement, law, administration, and/or environment.
- Create and maintain documentation for reports, dashboards, and related processes.
- Provide technical support to end-users for BI solutions.
- Collaborate with business users to gather reporting requirements and design reports and dashboards that meet their needs.
- Manage, administer, and develop analytics solutions using Oracle Analytics, Microsoft Power BI, and BI Publisher. Provide support for BI infrastructure and work on reporting solutions.
- Validate report output by cross-referencing it with data from the Oracle C2M system, identifying any data discrepancies or anomalies.
- Incorporate new data sources and analytics features into reports, as requested by stakeholders, to improve decision-making processes.
- Modify and customize existing reports based on evolving business needs, providing ongoing support for report enhancements.
- Continuously explore new tools and techniques for improving reporting efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide training and support to end-users on how to use reports and dashboards, ensuring they can derive maximum value from the data.
- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable data pipelines for various data sources (e.g., databases, APIs, cloud storage).
- Design and implement data models for Oracle C2M and utilities applications, ensuring data integrity and consistency. Build and maintain data warehouses and data lakes to support analytics and reporting needs.
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations using BI tools like Oracle Analytics, BI Publisher, and Microsoft Power BI to provide insights into Oracle Utilities application data. Translate business requirements into technical specifications for BI solutions and develop reports and dashboards that meet user needs.
Minimum Requirements:
- A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related scientific or technical discipline. A Master's Degree in one of the above disciplines equals one year specialized and two years' general experience.
- Seven (7) years of experience in IT.
- Five (5) years of hands-on or analysis experience in Data Analytics.
- Expert Knowledge of Oracle Primavera P6 Analytics implementation and experience in construction domain.
- The engineer will have experience with various BI tools like Oracle Analytics (both as admin and developer level), BI Publisher, and Microsoft Power BI
- Strong experience in Oracle Analytics Server Administration.
- Experience in designing and implementing data models for Oracle C2M applications, including an understanding of entities, relationships.
- Experience in analyzing Oracle C2M application data to identify trends, patterns, and insights. This includes proficiency in writing complex SQL queries to extract and analyze data from C2M tables and views.
- Experience in writing SQL queries against Oracle C2M database and extracting data as per user requirements
- 8+ years of experience designing and implementing data solutions and dashboard development for Oracle C2M, P6 analytics at enterprise-level applications.
- Strong understanding of utility applications and billing systems, especially within Oracle utilities (C2M, CC&B).
- Demonstrated experience working on large-scale data projects in diverse team environments with a focus on analytics, business intelligence, and enterprise systems.
- 5+ years of experience working with Oracle C2M, including in-depth knowledge of its data structures and capabilities for utilities and billing applications.
- Oracle Primavera: Strong knowledge and experience in implementing Oracle P6
- Extensive experience with data modeling and database design, particularly for Oracle-based applications and BI platforms.
- Proven expertise in implementing enterprise-wide analytics and business intelligence solutions, including data integration from multiple systems into a single data repository.
- Proficiency in Oracle Analytics, Microsoft Power BI, and BI Publisher, both as a developer and administrator
- Strong knowledge of BI platforms, including dashboard development, data visualization, report generation, and system administration for Oracle Analytics, Power BI, and BI Publisher.
- Deep understanding of database design principles, SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle database management systems, including performance optimization and troubleshooting.
- Ability to create complex reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to meet business needs.
- Experience developing real-time analytics solutions for utility businesses.
- Familiarity with data governance frameworks, ensuring data integrity, quality, and security within an enterprise context.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work closely with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities, especially when working with large, complex datasets.
Preferred/Nice to Have Skills:
- A Master's Degree is preferred.
