Job Title: IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) Administrator

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled IBM ACE (App Connect) Developer / Admin to design, implement, and maintain enterprise integration solutions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in IBM App Connect Enterprise (formerly IBM Integration Bus) for building, deploying, and managing integration flows to support business applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Developer Role:

Design and develop integration flows using IBM App Connect Enterprise to connect various systems, applications, and services.

Create message flows, message models, and integration solutions using industry standards such as REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, and MQ.

Implement error handling, logging, and monitoring mechanisms in integration solutions.

Optimize integration performance and troubleshoot issues during development and testing phases.

Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and understand integration requirements.

Admin Role:

Deploy and configure IBM ACE solutions in on-premises or cloud environments.

Monitor and manage integration flows, ensuring uptime, performance, and reliability.

Handle installation, upgrades, and patching of the ACE platform.

Perform capacity planning, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of ACE environments.

Ensure security and compliance by managing user access, certificates, and encryption settings.

Provide technical support and resolve issues related to IBM ACE in production environments.

Required Skills:

IBM ACE Expertise: Hands-on experience with IBM App Connect Enterprise, IIB, or WebSphere Message Broker.

Integration Knowledge: Strong understanding of integration patterns, APIs (REST, SOAP), and message formats (JSON, XML).

Middleware Tools: Familiarity with IBM MQ, DataPower, or similar middleware technologies.

Development Skills: Proficiency in ESQL, Java, and scripting for custom transformations and integrations.

Administration Skills: Knowledge of deployment practices, monitoring tools, and performance optimization in ACE.

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Excellent communication skills to work with technical and non-technical teams.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or IBM Cloud.

Knowledge of DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Kubernetes, or Docker.

Familiarity with event-driven architecture and Kafka.
