RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking an Operations & Planning Specialist. We are looking for a professional with O&P standards compliance experience that would be officed out of the Mesa Oaks office in Austin, TX with strong technical knowledge and writing skills.
Responsibilities:
* Develop/modify internal North American Electric Reliability Corporation's procedures for Operations, and Planning as assigned
* Update and submit personnel changes to the Compliance and Excellence (C&E) Team's Roles and Responsibility (R&R) matrix for all operating companies
* Support migration of procedures to new Document Management platform
* Reliability Standard Audit Worksheet (RSAW) creation and modification that results in a quality audit ready document
* Sustainability Assessments evidence review and coordination with Subject Matter Experts, as assigned
* Other duties as assigned, such as MIDAS reporting and support Order 881 Ambient Adjusted Ratings implementation readiness, as required
REQUIREMENTS:
* Engineering degree required
* 3+ years of experience in operations and planning experience, or utility compliance
* 3+ years building and executing a O&P compliance program
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Key role experience with a regional entity or a regional transmission organization a plus
* Familiarity with compliance software tools and platforms
* Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
* Strong project management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
