- Regularly monitor network activity for anomalies and potential security breaches.
- Analyze security logs for suspicious behavior.
- Conduct vulnerability scans to identify system weaknesses.
- Report security incidents to appropriate teams.
- Apply security patches and updates to systems.
- Configure firewalls and access control lists.
- Implement security policies and procedures.
- Manage user accounts and permissions.
- Investigate security incidents and determine root cause.

Qualifications
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Two (2) Years minimum practical experience in a Cybersecurity, Engineering, T&E or A&A (formerly C&A) related field.
- Experience in Cyber Security, Engineering, Test & Evaluation, (T&E) and/or Security Control Assessor (SCA) under a Certification & Accreditation (C&A) and/or Assessment & Authorization (A&A) process.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process or prior experience with the Defense Information Assurance & Certification Accreditation Process (DIACAP).
- Experience with Information Assurance tools such as DISA Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS), Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS).
- Knowledge of network fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing protocols).
- Experience with operating system security (Windows, Linux).
- Firewall configuration and management experience.
- Intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS) experience.
- Experience with vulnerability scanning tools.
- Basic scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) experience.
- Ability to assist with the preparation and maintenance of process artifacts, traceability documents purposed for compliance with Authority to Operate (ATO) requirements.
- Ability to evaluate security solutions to ensure they meet security requirements for processing up to classified information and supervise and/or maintain the operational security posture for an information system or program.
- Demonstrated communication skills to interact with project and security managers; clearly explain technical concepts and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Required Certificate:
- Must possess a Department of Defense (DoD) 8570 CSWF certification.
