Job Details
Our vision is to transform how the world uses information to enrich life for all.
Micron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence, inspiring the world to learn, communicate and advance faster than ever.
Collaborate with a team to enhance process quality and efficiency, focusing on yield improvement, cost reduction, and risk management. Diagnose and solve process issues using various analytical methods, leading yield enhancement and cost-saving initiatives, and managing supplier relationships for quality and cost objectives. Set up and adjust process parameters, evaluate new equipment and materials, conduct root cause analysis to troubleshoot fabrication problems, and ensure products meet design and performance standards. Conduct datamining and process analytics studies to understand sources of process variation and flag rogue tools/chambers/processes. Collaborate with vendors and equipment engineers to drive inline detection gap closure on novel defect fail modes. Correlate inline defect and inspection data to inline param and final probe metrics to drive inline progress on program critical yield issues and identify inspection gaps.
Employer will accept a Master's degree in Engineering, Materials Science, or related field. Position requires:
1. Semiconductor Device Physics;
2. Chemistry knowledge, including thermodynamics, quantum chemistry, organic chemistry, and physical chemistry;
3. Mathematics/statistics;
4. Coding and automation proficiency, including Python, pandas data analysis, SQL database querying, and JMP JSL coding;
5. Semiconductor process knowledge, including dry etch, thin films deposition, wet etch, and photolithography;
6. Data analysis skills, including JMP, Excel, and Python;
7. Analytical Techniques used in Semiconductor characterization, including SEM (and other e-beam techniques) and EDX.
