Immediate need for a talented ServiceNow Software Developer. This is a 10+months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Chicago, IL (Hybrid). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.

Pay Range: $70 - $80/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, configure, and support ServiceNow solutions, including ITSM, ITOM, Service Portal, and Workflows.
  • Perform ServiceNow Discovery and CMDB maintenance.
  • Implement workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, UI actions, ACLs, portal pages, and manage data imports/exports.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues within the ServiceNow environment.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies, providing expertise on level of effort, timelines, and status updates.
  • Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

  • Key skills; SERVICENOW, DISCOVERY, CMDB, API
  • 2-5 years of experience in ServiceNow development and administration.
  • Expertise in one or more ServiceNow modules (ITSM, ITOM, CSM, SPM).
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, Python, or PowerShell for scripting.
  • Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, XML, and JSON.
  • Knowledge of Linux & Windows operating systems, networking concepts (IP addressing, firewalls, ports), and relational databases (MySQL, MSSQL, Oracle).
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies, monitoring tools, and ITIL best practices.
  • Strong understanding of Change Management controls and agile methodologies.
  • ServiceNow System Administrator certification.
  • Certifications in ITSM, ITOM, or related ServiceNow products.
  • Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
  • Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and feedback skills.
