Job Details

Over 12 Years of IT experience.

Someone who can guide the offshore teams with detailed technical instructions and who is strong with SQL

  1. Ability to be an application architect, who can then also break down a functional E2E solution into system specific application design and code structure (i.e. be a technical design lead).
  2. Be able to recommend suitable application tech stacks/frameworks.
  3. Ability to lead and mentor offshore development teams (during offshore available hours) to communicate application design and development requests to the developers.
  4. Ability to review offshore development team s work (including code reviews) and make suggestions for improvement (usability, performance, security, etc).
  5. Ability to elaborate design and create design artifacts (system topology diagrams, data schema design, service interfaces, UML class/sequence/state diagrams).
  6. Ability to performance tune web applications and web services and create applications that can scale, identify performance bottlenecks and suggest code and design improvements.
  7. Ability to ensure ELV and industry standard Application and Information security standards and best practices are followed.
  8. Ability to meet with business SMEs and application user s independently to discuss application enhancement requests, defect resolution and data scripting requests.
  9. Ability to communicate scrum team development status and identify project risks to ScrumMasters / PMs.
  10. Ability to interact with CPS Lights On team for issue resolution and analyzing application logs, data, code to help identify issue root cause and suggest resolution.
  11. Takes lead with working with ELV DBA s and Admins (WAS/EFX/Linux, etc) to submit system change tickets and ensure admins complete requested system changes.
  12. Ability to participate in the Enterprise Monthly release process to deploy system changes into production AND coordinate release checkouts (Friday Sunday). Ability to communicate release status to business stakeholders and release managers.
  13. Familiar with Agile/SAFE/Scrum/Kanban best practices and experience working as a lead developer(developer advisor) in a scrum team.
