CACI is seeking a Lead Test Engineer who will be responsible for the day-to-day manufacturing supervision and support of the business, ensuring smooth and efficient operations in accordance with the organization's operating policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities:
- Operating as the Technical SME for a team of Test Automation Engineers and Performance Test Engineers around strategy, implementation, tracking and continuous improvement of the Test Automation capabilities within the team
- Develop, monitor, and maintain department metrics.
- Proactively interfaces with project leads and engineering management in resolving issues, coordinating resources, and managing activities.
- Analyze and resolve work problems and utilize collaboration for resolving problems, including direct reports.
- Manage the test engineers that support the design for tests and new product introductions into the factory.
- Provides technical and managerial leadership for the test engineers to affect test yield improvement, reduce test time, increase capacity, and eliminate false failures.
- Provide troubleshoot insight on complex RF and digital circuit card assemblies,
- Manage test equipment, support equipment, and personnel supporting on-time delivery.
- Interface with other departments to ensure customer order deadlines are met.
- Analyze and plan workforce and equipment utilization, space requirements, and workflow.
- Make recommendations to improve test methods, performance, equipment, and quality of product.
- Interface with contract manufacturers on ATP and RCCA processes.
- Review and approve Test plans and procedures.
- Use MES and ERP systems.
- Interviewing, hiring, training, and mentoring personnel.
Qualifications:
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) or 4 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 10+ years of related work experience
- Experience testing with Keysight E8257D-520-1E1, EXA N9010B, VNA P9375A, PXA N9032B, Oscilloscope (Part#MSOX6004A) or similar.
- Experience using test equipment
- Familiar with RF testing
- Experience with creating and interpreting documents such as test specifications, drawings, test plans, Acceptance Test Procedures, and equipment operating and maintenance instructions.
- Experience with debugging complex digital/RF PCBA designs
- Experience with writing routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
