Job Summary

The Senior Consultant is a world class software licensing expert, helping clients transform the most complex business challenges into optimal licensing strategies. The Senior Consultant is a team mentor and thought leader who can position and deliver the full range of practice consulting services to our largest clients.

In addition to leading our most complex client engagements, the Senior Consultant helps the practice envision, build, test and deliver new IP, and is constantly refining and improving our existing deliverables and methodologies.

The Senior Managing Consultant will report to the Managing Director, - Microsoft and Software Advisory Service Group.

Responsibilities

Include but not limited to:
  • Thought leader who can perform consultative discovery of client's business goals, objectives and challenges and then translate them into actionable technology and licensing strategies
  • Directly perform Assessments, Strategy and Roadmap exercises, and discuss opportunities for customers to leverage technologies, methodologies, and approaches to achieve strategic business outcomes
  • Represent the practice's consulting approach to customers and prospects in cooperation with our sales and SHI teams and estimate effort for consulting engagements
  • Create, submit, and review Statements of Work (SOW) for consulting services
  • Drive adjacent SHI services attach during client engagements
  • Work with practice leadership to build, test and refine new and existing IP
  • Work as a contributing member of the practice to develop and execute our go to market strategy
  • Mentor and coach team members in skill development and career progression
  • Act as first line of escalation and subject matter expert for pre-sales and consulting engagements
  • Maintain knowledge of current and future trends related to Microsoft, software licensing, ITAM, IT security, digital experience, and automation


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years experience consulting with large organizations regarding software licensing
  • Minimum 5+ years experience Interacting with senior executives, simplifying complex licensing concepts into actionable strategies and orchestrating multi-dimensional projects and teams
  • 7+ years' experience working with Microsoft Software Licensing
  • 7+ years' experience Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel/Visio/PPT and delivering customer proposals

Unique Requirements

  • Position requires 50% travel


Additional Information

  • The estimated annual pay range for this position is $175,000 - $215,000 salary which includes a base salary and bonus. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
