Summary:


The IT Delivery job is accountable for the successful end-to-end delivery of strategic projects, programs, and portfolios. The job leads projects, programs, portfolios or leads an Agile ART or several agile teams, through the systems development life cycle from planning through hyper care, working in close partnership with IT and business leaders including executive sponsors. The work also includes leading, collaboration, coaching team members and influencing others outside their direct team to ensure the success of initiatives.

Responsibilities


- Provide coaching and guidance to team members


- Create and maintain project budgets


- Build strong project teams


- Manage and organize project teams to support project needs


- Manage projects to successfully meet business requirements and outcomes


- Plan and run test plans


- Create work break down structures to support project delivery and track plan


- Use level of efforts to assist in developing project budgets


- Manage project progress and create effective status reports


- Manage all required project documentation per client PMO standards


- Define, drive test metrics and monitor testing to ensure testing is completed per project schedule


- Define resource plan and manage throughout project life cycle


- Time Management:

Minimum Qualifications


- Bachelor's Degree


- 5+ years leading system development or relevant IT work experience


- Size of project is $500K or less/10 people or less

- Responsible for mentorship of junior team members


- Capability to understand clients' application portfolio as well as how the different systems contribute to daily business operations

- Experience managing small to medium projects across multiple functions is preferred


- Executive presence


- Experience managing and mentoring project management staff including providing stretch opportunities and coaching to develop team and deliver results


- Experience successfully coordinating business and technical resources under an integrated project plan to ensure the alignment of resources


- Experience developing new ideas and proposing innovative solutions to problems


- Demonstrates ability to use a broad range of tools and techniques to extract insights from current trends in business/product area


- Demonstrates ability to read situations and modify behavior to build quality and diverse relationships to drive outcomes


- Demonstrates ability to provide candid, meaningful feedback in a timely manner


- Proven record of keeping leadership actively informed and cascading decisions made quickly - Experience supporting the risk assessment through evaluation of the overall project and provide recommendations for project effectiveness


- Proven experience using multiple sources of information including broader stakeholder views to develop solutions and recommendations


Scrum Master


- Proven track record of managing impediments that exceed the self-organizing capabilities of SGWS' teams and drives the achievement of Sprint Goals


- Experience in participating in sprint planning, design, coding, unit testing, sprint reviews


- Demonstrates ability to recognize healthy team conflicts and promotes constructive disagreement


- Showcases abilities to be disruptive enough to enforce a change within the organization


- Understands the power of a self-organization and how to encourage it


- Experience with steady sprint cadence and works to create and maintain it


- Competent with Scrumban, XP, Kanban, Lean, and other Agile frameworks
