Business Systems Analyst
We will only review resumes from local candidates to the MN/Twin Cities Metro area.
We are looking for an Analyst to become the go-to expert on our client's core business systems, both customer-facing and internal. This individual will develop a deep understanding of how our systems function, provide critical input on enhancements, and serve as the bridge between end-users and IT. The Analyst will review business requirements, offer feedback to improve functionality, assist users with questions, and conduct thorough user testing to ensure system changes meet business needs. Additionally, this role requires staying informed about emerging technologies and industry best practices to help the organization maintain a competitive edge and avoid falling behind in system capabilities.
The first 2-3 months will be onsite 3 days a week, and then will be flexible for remote status.
This role will sit on the business side and be a liaison between the business and technical teams. Some client facing responsibility will be present.
Must have experience and skill to work in a smaller company setting. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop in-depth knowledge of our main business systems, including customer-facing platforms and internal tools.
- User Support and Liaison and will act as the primary point of contact between users and IT, answering questions, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring user needs are met.
- Provide informed recommendations on system enhancements and new features to improve functionality and user experience.
- Review business and technical requirements, identify potential gaps, and provide feedback to ensure system changes align with business goals.
- Design and execute user testing strategies to validate new features and system updates before deployment.
- Assist in documenting system processes and enhancements, ensuring users have the necessary resources to navigate changes.
- Stay current with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices to recommend improvements and ensure the organization remains technologically competitive.
- Work closely with IT, business leaders, and end users to align system capabilities with organizational needs.
- This hybrid role requires a blend of analytical thinking, technical expertise, and strong communication skills to drive system improvements, support users effectively, and keep the organization ahead in technology adoption.
Requirements:

- Tech-savvy self-starter with 1 5 years of experience in business systems, tech support, process improvement, or operations roles (formal Business or Systems Analyst title not required)
- Naturally curious and analytical, with a passion for learning how systems work and how to improve them
- AI-forward mindset experienced with or excited to master tools like ChatGPT, workflow automation, and data-enhancing AI platforms; you actively explore how AI can streamline processes and drive smarter decisions
- Excellent communicator who can translate between technical teams and business users with clarity and empathy
- Willing to perform user testing, troubleshooting, and gathering feedback to ensure systems meet real business needs
- Organized and methodical in documenting processes, managing tickets, and tracking enhancement requests
- Comfortable being the bridge between end users and IT you like helping people and solving problems
- Open to training and mentorship, but you re quick to figure things out and not afraid to ask questions
- Naturally stay current on emerging tech and tools, always looking for new ways to bring value
- Thrive in a hybrid work environment, with availability to be onsite in the Minneapolis office as needed
