Job Details

Job Title: IBM Sterling Order Management System (OMS) Specialist

Responsibilities:

  1. IBM Sterling OMS Implementation:
    • Lead the design, development, and implementation of IBM Sterling Order Management System (OMS) solutions.
    • Customize and configure Sterling OMS to meet specific business requirements, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
  2. Order Management Process Optimization:
    • Analyze existing order management processes and identify areas for improvement using IBM Sterling OMS.
    • Develop and implement solutions to optimize order fulfillment, inventory management, and customer service processes.
  3. System Integration:
    • Integrate IBM Sterling OMS with other enterprise systems such as ERP, CRM, WMS, and eCommerce platforms.
    • Ensure seamless data flow and communication between systems to enhance overall business operations.
  4. Technical Support and Troubleshooting:
    • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for issues related to IBM Sterling OMS.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve system issues and implement corrective actions.
  5. Custom Development and Enhancements:
    • Develop custom extensions, APIs, and interfaces to enhance the functionality of IBM Sterling OMS.
    • Implement enhancements and upgrades to the OMS environment to support evolving business needs.
  6. Documentation and Training:
    • Prepare comprehensive documentation for system configurations, processes, and custom developments.
    • Conduct training sessions for end-users and technical teams to ensure effective use of IBM Sterling OMS.
  7. Project Management:
    • Manage IBM Sterling OMS projects, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to scope, and alignment with business objectives.
    • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure successful project execution.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience working with IBM Sterling Order Management System (OMS).
  • Strong expertise in implementing, configuring, and customizing IBM Sterling OMS solutions.
  • Experience with system integration, particularly with ERP, CRM, WMS, and eCommerce platforms.
  • Proficiency in Java, XML, XSLT, and other relevant technologies for Sterling OMS development.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead and manage complex projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in retail, eCommerce, or supply chain industries.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
  • IBM Sterling OMS certification is a plus.
