Mechanical Engineer EIT/PE - Mission Critical (Healthcare & Pharmaceutical Projects)

A well-established engineering consulting firm in Philadelphia is seeking a Mid to Senior Level Mechanical Engineer with a strong background in mission-critical projects, particularly within the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading mechanical design efforts, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and delivering high-quality solutions for complex building systems.

Responsibilities
Lead the mechanical design & engineering of HVAC systems for healthcare and pharmaceutical facilities, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards such as ASHRAE, NFPA, and cGMP.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop integrated solutions for mission-critical environments, including cleanrooms, laboratories, and data centers.
Oversee project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring client satisfaction and project success.
Conduct site assessments, feasibility studies, and system evaluations to inform design decisions.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering practices within the firm.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering; PE license preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on mission-critical projects in the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries.
Proficiency in industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and energy modeling tools.
Strong knowledge of relevant codes and standards, including ASHRAE, NFPA, and cGMP.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
