Description
We are seeking a Social Media Specialist to join our team in Atlanta, Georgia. This role functions within the non-profit industry and involves managing social media accounts, supporting events, and assisting with newsletters. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity, with work taking place on-site.
Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage two social media accounts for the organization, ensuring consistent engagement and brand awareness
Provide support for various events as needed, including preparation and coordination
Assist in the creation and distribution of newsletters using tools such as Constant Contact
Utilize tools like Adobe Creative Cloud and Canva to create engaging content for social media platforms and newsletters
Implement best practices for social media management, including the use of editorial calendars and analytics tools like Facebook Insights and Google+
Monitor and analyze social media performance to inform adjustments and improvements
Collaborate with team members to ensure a cohesive brand message across all platforms
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies, particularly in relation to working in proximity with children
Demonstrate a flexible and positive attitude in all tasks, adapting to the dynamic needs of a public school environment.
Requirements
Proficiency in using Adobe Creative Cloud for creating visually engaging content
Familiarity with Canva as a tool for designing social media graphics
Experience in developing and maintaining editorial calendars for content management
Ability to utilise Facebook Insights for tracking user interaction and engagement
Knowledge of Google+ for expanding social media reach and networking
Skills in creating and managing advertisements across various social media platforms
Strong grasp of analytics to measure the success of social media campaigns
Understanding of social media best practices to optimize online presence
Experience in blogging to enhance brand visibility and engagement
Ability to drive brand awareness through strategic social media campaigns
