Job Details

Our Opportunity:

We are looking for a Business Intelligence Engineer I at our facility in Plantation, FL to own the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, etc. to drive key decisions and process improvements.

What You'll Do:

  • Work closely with the Supply Chain Inventory Optimization team to contribute to the team's mission of reducing costs and improving Customer Experience.
  • Analyze demand and resource requirements against available resources to identify risks and opportunities and provide recommendations to solve for resource constraints.
  • Interface with other technology teams to extract, transform, and load data from a wide variety of data sources using SQL and various technological platforms.
  • Recognize and adopt best practices in reporting and analysis: data integrity, test design, analysis, validation, and documentation.
  • Respond to high priority requests from senior business leaders.
  • Continually improve ongoing reporting and analysis processes, automating or simplifying self-service support for secondary data sets.
  • Telecommuting permitted.

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field and 1 year of experience.
  • Experience must include 1 year in the following: professional data analysis/business intelligence experience;
  • Working with cross functional stakeholders to develop metrics and associated reporting capabilities;
  • Dealing with results, metrics, and data with a desire to create new processes;
  • Tableau, SQL, Python, Knime, Git and Github;
  • Building large scale data visualization tools;
  • Data warehousing and database management systems;
  • Statistics and probability theory;
  • Microsoft Office (Excel); and
  • Telecommuting permitted.
