REQUIREMENT:
Position: S/4 Retail Solution Architect
Location: Minneapolis, MN - Hybrid
Duration: 12 Months

Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced S4 Retail Solution Architect with a strong background in retail industry solutions. The ideal candidate will play a key role in leading the transition from IS Retail to S4 Retail. This role requires a deep understanding of retail business processes and S4 architecture, ensuring seamless implementation and alignment with business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the architectural design and implementation strategy for the transition from IS Retail to S4 Retail, aligning with the business objectives and retail industry best practices.
  • Assess current IS Retail environment, identify gaps, and develop a roadmap to guide the transition to S4 Retail.
  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand retail-specific requirements and translate them into functional and technical solutions within S4.
  • Provide guidance on best practices for S4 Retail, including merchandising, inventory management, pricing, and supply chain processes.
  • Develop and implement an S4 architecture that ensures scalability, flexibility, and high performance for retail operations.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on S4 Retail solutions, offering insights on system configuration, integration, and data migration.
  • Mentor and guide other team members in S4 best practices, ensuring knowledge transfer and capability building within the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum 8+ years in solution architecture with a focus on retail solutions, including at least 3+ years of experience with S4 Retail.
  • Retail Industry Knowledge: Strong background in the retail industry with hands-on experience in IS Retail and S4 Retail environments.
  • Technical Skills: Expertise in SAP S4 Retail solutions, including familiarity with modules related to merchandising, inventory, and supply chain.
  • Project Management: Proven experience in leading large-scale retail system implementations or migrations.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Location Flexibility: Preferred location in Minneapolis, but open to other locations for the right candidate.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in data migration and integration between IS Retail and S4 Retail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex system transformations.
  • Knowledge of SAP best practices specific to retail solutions.
