System Engineer/Administrator - Remote

Job Summary:
Join our team as a System Engineer where you will be a key player in designing, implementing, and maintaining complex systems.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of DOORS software, testing, user acceptance testing, requirements development, and writing proposals and reports. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless operation of our systems.

Duties:
Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.

Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal.

Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.

Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications

Must have the ability to look at notes and glean requirements from them, do requirements development, and be able to enter them and manage the baseline of requirements in DOORS. Must be able to work with the test team to ensure the requirements in DOORS are set up in such a way that the test team can write test cases.

Will be supporting the Proposal Estimating and Pricing team, must have basic understanding of proposals and proposal management so they will have some context for the requirements and information they are looking at and managing.

Requirements:

-Bachelor's in computer science or related field.

-Ability to work remote on a 4x10 schedule, 1st shift

-DOORS (2-4 years' experience)

-Technical Skill of Requirements Development (4-6 years' experience)

-User Acceptance Testing (2-4 years' experience)

-Proposal and Reports writing (1-2 years' experience)
