We are seeking an experienced SAP Business Analyst with a focus on Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work closely with business stakeholders and IT teams to analyze, design, implement, and optimize SAP EWM solutions for warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering:
Work closely with key stakeholders in supply chain, warehouse, and logistics teams to understand business requirements, challenges, and objectives related to warehouse management.
Conduct workshops, interviews, and process mapping sessions to gather detailed functional requirements for SAP EWM.
Analyze current warehouse operations, identify pain points, and propose SAP EWM-driven solutions to improve efficiency, accuracy, and speed. - Solution Design & Configuration:
Lead the design and configuration of SAP EWM modules to align with business requirements and enhance warehouse processes such as goods receipt, putaway, picking, packing, and shipping.
Configure EWM functionalities, including warehouse structure, RF devices, task and resource management, storage bins, and inventory management.
Design integration solutions between SAP EWM and other SAP modules such as SAP MM, SAP WM, and SAP SD to ensure seamless data flow across the supply chain. - Process Optimization & Best Practices:
Identify opportunities to optimize and automate warehouse operations using SAP EWM, such as improving order processing time, inventory accuracy, and space utilization.
Apply industry best practices to streamline warehouse processes and improve overall efficiency.
Work with stakeholders to implement improvements in warehouse layout, inventory control, and pick/pack strategies using SAP EWM's advanced features. - Testing & Implementation Support:
Support the creation of detailed test plans for SAP EWM, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Assist with troubleshooting issues during testing phases and provide solutions to ensure smooth system implementation.
Coordinate with technical teams to ensure that all SAP EWM configurations are thoroughly tested and validated before go-live. - Training & Documentation:
Develop and deliver end-user training for SAP EWM users, ensuring that warehouse personnel are fully equipped to use the system effectively.
Create and maintain clear documentation for SAP EWM configurations, business processes, and user guides.
Ensure comprehensive knowledge transfer to business users and IT teams, supporting the adoption of new processes and technologies. - Post-Go-Live Support & Continuous Improvement:
Provide post-implementation support, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring SAP EWM is operating smoothly.
Assist in ongoing system enhancements and upgrades to ensure that SAP EWM evolves in line with the business's changing needs.
Proactively monitor system performance and suggest improvements based on feedback from end-users and performance metrics. - Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:
Engage with cross-functional teams, including logistics, supply chain, IT, and business users, to ensure that SAP EWM solutions meet the business needs.
Facilitate regular communication with senior management regarding project progress, timelines, risks, and issues.
Develop strong working relationships with business teams to continuously understand evolving requirements and to improve the system.
- Education:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
SAP certification in SAP EWM or other relevant SAP logistics certifications is a plus. - Experience:
4+ years of experience working as an SAP Business Analyst or functional consultant, with a focus on SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM).
Strong hands-on experience with SAP EWM configuration, including warehouse structure, storage types, RF devices, and inbound/outbound processes.
Proven track record of successfully implementing and optimizing SAP EWM solutions in large-scale warehouse environments.
Experience with SAP MM (Materials Management), SAP WM (Warehouse Management), and SAP SD (Sales and Distribution) integration is highly desirable.
Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA and other advanced SAP tools for warehouse management is a plus. - Additional Skills (Desirable):
Experience with SAP Fiori applications for warehouse management.
Familiarity with emerging warehouse technologies such as RFID, voice picking, and warehouse automation systems.
Knowledge of SAP Cloud Platform or SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) is a plus.
