IT Helpdesk Technician (Onsite)
We are seeking an IT Helpdesk Technician to provide onsite support across three office locations for a well-established client in Pasadena. This role involves hands-on troubleshooting, device imaging, user account setup, and ticket management. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, a strong attention to detail, and experience working with tools like Active Directory, O365, and SolarWinds or similar. This is an ongoing contract with potential for long-term conversion.

Location: Pasadena, CA 91103 (Onsite M-F)
Duration: 3-6 months+ (Ongoing contract, potential to extend)
Compensation: This job expects to pay $25-30/hr W2

What You ll Do:
- You ll provide hands-on technical support for laptops, desktops, and mobile devices, while also performing equipment imaging, ticket management, user account support, and following procedural checklists for deployments and troubleshooting
- Provide first-level support for end users and escalate issues to higher tiers as needed
- Purchase, install, maintain, decommission, and repair computer systems, accessories, peripherals, and software
- Support user account management for onboarding, offboarding, role changes, and access updates
- Maintain accurate inventory of IT equipment, accessories, and technology supplies
- Deliver responsive and professional technical support across the organization
What Gets You the Job:
- Experience supporting mobile devices, laptops, desktops, printers, and MDM tools
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote) and O365
- Familiarity with helpdesk systems, asset tracking tools, and remote support software
- Knowledge of user account management across various systems
- A degree in Computer Science or relevant IT certification with hands-on IT experience
- Strong troubleshooting, multitasking, and analytical abilities under pressure
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
- Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing environments
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written procedures and checklists
- Comfortable entering and managing data using Excel spreadsheets
- Able to run pre-written PowerShell scripts for user account maintenance
- Experience imaging laptops and desktops for deployment
- Skilled in Level 1 troubleshooting for end-user issues
- Communicates clearly and provides detailed ticket notes with appropriate escalation
