Atlas Lift Tech is currently looking to hire an iOS Developer on a full-time, permanent basis. This opportunity can be worked 100% remotely from anywhere in the U.S. and must be worked in accordance with Pacific Standard Time Zone. Some travel will also be required (approximately once per quarter).

Responsibilities:

  • Your work will directly contribute to saving and improving people s lives.
  • Ability and desire to work in our collaborative environment: open team room, pair programming and fluid interactions with all products and operations teams
  • Focus on building solutions utilizing an agile approach: close relationships with Lead Developer and Business Analyst, communicating and digesting real time feedback
  • Develop complex software systems scaling to thousands of users with production quality deployment, testing, monitoring and reliability
  • Ensure all technology practices are in compliance with regulatory standards such as HIPAA
  • Assist the development team in meeting deployment and release deadlines
  • Carry out safe and downtime-proof software releases
  • Work with the development team to not only develop products but also inform the team how leveraging certain technologies can help the company become more successful
  • Working with the lead developer to enhance and optimize the application architecture

 

Qualifications:

  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience building software in a scaled distributed environment
  • 5+ years of experience building native iOS mobile applications using Apple Development tools
  • 5+ years of experience coding in Swift, Objective-C
  • Have expertise in one or more object-oriented languages, including Python, Go, Java, or C++, and an eagerness to learn more
  • A strong understanding of SOLID design principles, Domain Driven Design, and Contract First Development, Dependency Injection, and Reactive programming
  • Experience with mobile development
  • Have experience with distributed storage and database systems, including SQL or NoSQL, MySQL, or Cassandra
  • Understanding of MQTT, Bluetooth/BLE, WiFi services and protocols, Mesh-networking, TLS/SSL protocol
  • Understanding of CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps and XCode Server and deploying applications in a DevOps environment
  • Familiar with secure coding standards and practices
  • Code Quality/Coverage Tools (Sonar or equivalent) Test/Automation (Jest, Cypress, Cucumber, or any similar framework)
  • Experience in Agile development practices, added bonus for Agile lead experience
  • Experience working with various wearable sensors: Gyroscope, Moisture sensor, Accelerometer/Motion sensor, Proximity sensor
  • Proven working experience leveraging Apple WatchKit with Core Motion
  • Cloud experience, with a preference on Azure
  • Strong desire to have a career rather than a job, and to grow with the company.
  • Prior experience with health data standards/protocols and integration, including HL7 is highly desirable
  • Experience consuming and implementing REST & GraphQL APIs
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work well with all levels of engineers/staff
  • Possess the drive to exceed expectations and lead by example
  • Hardware Experience in new technology trends is a definite bonus: IoT, Wearables (Apple Watch)
