Responsibilities
Peraton Labs is seeking a Front-End Developer to work collaboratively with our Peraton Labs Network Systems team to build compelling and easy to use applications for a multitude of different projects. Working closely with other team members as well as directly with our customer, in a fast-paced environment, you will be challenged to utilize and grow your skills to build interfaces for a diverse set of applications. To be considered, candidates must be creative, passionate about process improvement, be self-sufficient, passionate for learning new things and have a strong technical ability in the following areas:
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Demonstrable ability to work as part of an integrated solution development team
Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
Ability to manage tasks effectively
This position will be supporting a customer site in College Park, Maryland. The ideal candidate will be one who is able to collaborate as part of a dynamic customer, Peraton Labs, and subcontractor team as well as execute work independently.
This position requires full time on-site work out of the facility College Park, Maryland.
Qualifications
Education:
Three (3) years of experience in application prototype development and a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science or a related discipline. In lieu of a Bachelors' degree an additional four (4) years experience is required for a total of seven (7) years of experience
Experience Required:
Experience working with HTML/CSS/JavaScript and related front-end technologies in a professional environment
JavaScript Frameworks such as Vue.js, React, Angular.js also apply
Demonstrate a good understanding of the syntax and semantics of JavaScript/Typescript
Experience utilizing RESTful API web services in front-end development
Demonstrate an understanding of how API's work within a full-stack environment
Demonstrate a basic understanding of NoSQL/SQL language
Active TS/SCI security clearance with a current polygraph is required
Desired Qualifications
Familiarity with Python
Demonstrated ability to quickly acquire knowledge of new technologies
Experience with design, development, test, verification, and certification of operational software
Target Salary Range
$104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
