About the Role:

The Program Manager, Software Developer acts as the overall lead, manager, and administrator for project delivery and the project team. Serves as the primary interface and point of contact with Government program stakeholders and representatives on technical, program, or project issues. Oversees the development and maintenance of a Navy tool including administrative support efforts and reporting progress of the software development and maintenance program. Manages acquisition and employment of program or project resources and controls financial and administrative aspects of the program or project to contract requirements.

Must haves:

Qualifications:

  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) required.
  • Bachelor s degree in computer science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years leading software development or IT projects and teams
  • 8+ years of experience in Agile project management.
  • Experience developing in .Net
  • Ability to gather and communicate requirements to both client and contractor teams
  • Ability to deliver software development improvements rapidly with multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to lead a diverse team that is geographically dispersed.
  • Local to the Pax River area.
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance.

Nice to have:

  • Familiarity with the Joint Discrepancy Reporting System (JDRS)
  • Familiarity with Navy maintenance processes and data systems
  • Familiarity with Navy data modernization efforts
