This role is part of Enterprise Technology (ET), where we're developing the digital infrastructure needed to build the road to space, with an emphasis on digital capabilities required to advance Blue Origin's mission. Enterprise Technology is the center of excellence for digital technology at Blue Origin, providing oversight and governance to align technology and business strategies.
As part of a small and highly-skilled team, you will provide technical support and solution consultations to our engineers and staff to support a company designing, building and launching space vehicles. This role will directly support launch and manufacturing operations as a member of the Information Technology department and reports directly to the IT Field Support Manager. We are looking for someone to apply their technical expertise, leadership skills, and commitment to high standards to positively impact safe human spaceflight. Qualifications:
- Proven track record working in a technical helpdesk, service desk or desktop support role for at least two years, supporting hardware/software troubleshooting and being in a customer-facing position
- Previous experience with Windows 10 and 11; Microsoft Office including Project and Visio; Active Directory account and computer management; Adobe products; Antivirus, Disk Encryption, and VPN applications
- Proficiency with Windows printing and scanning operations, including installation and support of network devices
- Experience with endpoint management software platforms, desktop provisioning technologies like SCCM and PXE
- Functional knowledge of Linux OS as well as Mac OS and iOS
- Willing to be flexible with scheduled days and hours with reasonable notice as needed during operations or on-call
- Valid driver's license and insurance to operate company vehicles
- Travel (<5%) as needed within the United States to support remote offices
- Required to be able to lift/carry up to fifty pounds as well as physically climb multiple flights of stairs, withstand prolonged standing, and work in adverse weather conditions
- Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion
Desired:
- AS Degree in Information Technology or related field
- Certifications: A+, Network+, Linux+, Security+ or similar
- Prior hands-on technical support in aerospace and/or manufacturing industries

- Required for Certain Job Profiles: Defense Biometric Identification System (DIBDS) background check if at any time the role requires one to be on a military installation
- Required for Certain Job Profiles: Drivers who operate Commercial Motor Vehicles with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW), Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) or combination of power unit and trailer that meets or exceeds 10,001 lbs. and/or transports placardable amounts of hazardous materials by ground in any vehicle on a public road while in commerce, may be subject to additional Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations including: Driver Qualification Files, Medical Certification, Road Test, Hours of Service, Drug and Alcohol Testing (CDL drivers only), vehicle inspection requirements, CDL requirements (if applicable) and hazardous materials transportation/shipping training.
