Job Title: EHR Epic Certified Revenue Cycle Analyst
Location: Remote (North Carolina), with onsite presence required 3-5 days per month and during rollouts
Duration: 12+ Months
Overview:
Seeking a highly skilled Technical Specialist with Epic certifications in Resolute Hospital Billing Claims and Resolute Professional Billing Claims to support the DSOHF EHR project. This individual will be responsible for Epic module builds and serve as the primary support contact, ensuring system configuration aligns with organizational policies and workflows.
Mandatory Requirements:
Epic Certification:
- Required Modules: Resolute Hospital Billing (HB & Claims), Professional Billing (PB & Claims), Long-Term Care Billing
- Certification Documentation: Attach Epic certifications with month/year of completion on the reference tab.
Epic Implementation/Support Experience:
- Years of Experience: Minimum 8 years in Epic implementation or operations support
Health IT Experience:
- Years of Experience: Minimum 8 years
Responsibilities:
- Application Support: Serve as the primary support contact for end-users and coordinate issue resolution across assigned Epic modules.
- System Design and Development: Lead the design, configuration, and scripting efforts, ensuring system alignment with organizational workflows and Epic best practices.
- Claims Management: Set up and test both paper and electronic claims and manage electronic remittance.
- Technical Liaison: Act as a bridge between end-users and Epic implementation staff, communicating workflow needs and changes.
- Project Coordination: Maintain ongoing communication with Epic representatives and attend regular project team meetings.
- Workflow and System Testing: Guide workflow design, system testing, and address technical issues related to Epic software.
- Documentation and Communication: Maintain consistent communication with team members on project status, budget, deliverables, and milestones.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Epic Certifications: Certified in Resolute Hospital Billing, Professional Billing, and Long-Term Care Billing modules.
- Epic Implementation Support: Minimum 8 years of experience, including at least one full life cycle Epic implementation.
- Claims Processing: Proficiency in setting up/testing paper/electronic claims and remittance (8 years).
- Data Systems Knowledge: Deep knowledge of relevant data and system interactions, with experience in test plan development (8 years).
- Application Development and Integration: Proven experience in application development and integration with enterprise systems (8 years).
- Security Protocols: Knowledge of security protocols related to patient data (8 years).
- Health Plan Concepts and Workflows: Familiarity with health plan workflows and revenue cycle management (5 years).
- Development Lifecycle and QA Testing: Experience across the development lifecycle, including quality assurance and system testing (8 years).
- Billing Workflow Comprehension: Comprehensive understanding of billing office functions, revenue cycle processes, and integration with other departments.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Awareness of clinical and regulatory requirements specific to skilled nursing care settings.
Other Skills:
- Strong communication skills to convey technical information and promote understanding with end-users.
- Experience in project and team management, with the ability to assess user needs through client interactions.
- Familiarity with Epic s support and communication protocols, along with regular Epic representative collaboration.
