This company is seeking a skilled Java Developer to join their technology team. The role involves building and maintaining enterprise-level applications that support the airline's operations and customer services. Ideal candidates should have expertise in Java, Spring frameworks, and cloud-based solutions, along with a commitment to innovation and collaboration.
Required Skills and Experiences
  • A degree in Computer Science (or equivalent) and at least 4 years of experience in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Proficiency in Java 11+, Spring Framework, REST/Microservices, Kubernetes, Docker, and full-stack development. Experience with tools like Maven, Git, Junit, and Azure DevOps is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with TDD/BDD methodologies, Agile workflows, object-oriented design principles, and cloud-based solutions.
  • Web servers (Tomcat, WebSphere), messaging systems (IBM MQ, RabbitMQ), Redis Cache, and Linux/Unix scripting.
Nice To Have
  • At least six years of hands-on involvement in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), focusing on building and deploying large-scale applications.
  • More than two years of practical experience with Kubernetes, with solid knowledge of container orchestration and distributed systems principles.
What You Will Be Doing
  • Design, develop, and implement enterprise-level applications using Java and related technologies.
  • Build and maintain microservices using Spring Boot and REST APIs.
  • Develop cloud-native applications and manage containerized deployments with Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Work with cross-functional teams, including product managers and QA, to deliver high-quality software.
  • Participate in Agile workflows, such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
  • Write clean, testable code, adhering to best practices in TDD/BDD.
  • Collaborate on CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps and GitHub
  • Enhance application performance using tools like Redis Cache and Elastic Search.
  • Diagnose and resolve production issues in a timely manner.

  • Hybrid (Tuesday-Thursday onsite, Monday/Friday remote)
