Job Details

The Innovation & Technology team of Schneider Electric seeks a dynamic and motivated 5G/WiFi 6 Test Engineering Co-Op to join our team based in Andover, MA. The targeted start date is January or June 2025. As part of our 5G/WiFi 6 engineering team, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic and agile team in the industrial automation business and contribute to the testing and automation of cutting-edge 5G/WiFi 6 technologies. This hands-on role will involve working with our experienced engineers to test, validate, and automate 5G/WiFi 6 network elements and solutions.

What will you do?
  • Assist in the design, development, and execution of test plans for 5G/WiFi 6 network elements and features.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and troubleshoot 5G/WiFi 6 network performance and functionality issues.
  • Contribute to the automation of test cases and procedures to enhance testing efficiency.
  • Analyze test results and provide valuable insights to improve 5G/WiFi 6 network performance and reliability.
  • Stay updated with the latest 5G/WiFi 6 technologies and industry standards to drive continuous improvement.

  • Current enrollment in a BA/BS program in Electrical/Computer Science or Computer Engineering or directly related field required (3rd or 4th year)
  • Knowledge of wireless communication systems and protocols, with a keen interest in 5G/WiFi 6 technology.
  • Proficiency in Python programming language
  • Familiar with GIT and DevOps preferred
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team to contribute to the design and delivery goals.
  • Ability to research and apply engineering principles and theories to solve problems.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
  • Located near Andover, MA and able to work full-time on-site
