Responsibilities

Peraton is hiring a Persistent Cyber Training Environment (PCTE) Content Developer at Wahiawa, Oahu in Hawaii.

This person supports Navy Information Operations Command (NIOC)-Hawaii, in creating realistic network environments and hands on training covering the full scope of Defensive Cyber Operations (DCO) within the Persistent Cyber Training Environment (PCTE). Beyond PCTE, this role will support Cyber Operations (CO), as well as work with Cyber allies and partners.

What you'll do:

  • Assist in developing detailed plans for the support of a range of cyber operations through collaboration with planners, operators, analysts, and military leadership, to include Cyber allies and partners
  • Assist in developing new approaches to improve organizational framework through the coordination and integration of staff processes
  • Create realistic network environments and hands on training covering the full scope of CO within the Persistent Cyber Training Environment (PCTE)
  • Leverage CO background (DODIN Operations, DCO or OCO) to contribute to building a realistic training scenario and provide leadership perspective on expected actions, plans, reporting and briefing
  • Manage VMWare infrastructure
  • Multi-vendor layer 3 networking
  • Develop new infrastructure or uses existing ranges as needed to fulfill scenario requirements
  • Execute CO planning and content writing
  • Develop PCTE JQR content for all DCO work roles
  • Develop PCTE JQS content at individual / crew / ME level for all work roles and Enterprise host configuration and management
  • Design and configuration of enterprise domain/mail/web/SharePoint services
  • Maintenance and cataloging of content and licenses within PCTE
  • Track content/platform issues and conduct fix actions (as needed)
  • Participate in Cyber Protection Team (CPT) and Task Force training events

Qualifications

What you'll need:

  • Education: Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD or 12 years of experience in lieu of a degree
  • Clearance: TS/SCI with CI Poly required
  • Virtual Machines(VMWare) experience
  • Experience building infrastructure enterprise network on a small scale
  • Experience as a developer with a strong focus on delivering cybersecurity visualizations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience supporting Indo-Pacific cyber operations
  • Experience as PCTE content developer with USCYBERCOM
  • JPME II Level

Target Salary Range

$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
