The Opportunity
In Adobe finance, we strive to introduce the finance of the future! We are dedicated to leading the transformation of finance through innovative data science and predictive technologies, and we are looking for a data science intern to join our Digital Media finance team. You will be working on refining advanced forecasting techniques for key topline metrics like revenue and ARR. This role is fitting for an individual who enjoys working with large datasets and deriving insights using statistical and machine learning models. This role offers exposure to senior management and provides opportunities for cross-functional collaboration with finance, engineering, and business groups. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. What You'll Do
Our 2025 intern will lead a data science project that addresses key business challenges and present their findings to senior leaders. Throughout the internship, the intern will:
- Drive data science modeling initiatives for forecasting and analysis.
- Automate, enhance, and maintain analytic applications and data structures used for modeling and forecasting.
- Partner with finance, accounting, BU partners, and leadership to develop and enhance existing process.
- Present findings to leadership and maintain dashboards tracking key indicators.
- Show a strong intellectual curiosity for improving current methodologies and processes.
- Be a change agent, ensuring users adopt new and innovative technologies.
What You Need to Succeed
- Currently enrolled full time and pursuing a degree in Computers Science, Statistics, Data Science, Information Systems; or equivalent degree required with an expected graduation date of December 2025 - June 2026.
- Ability to participate in a full-time internship between May-September, 2025.
- Proficiency in SQL and strong capability in Python or R, demonstrated through coursework, work experience, or portfolio projects.
- Proficiency in Excel for data manipulation and knowledge of advanced formulas
- Solid understanding of statistical concepts and foundational machine learning algorithms such as linear regression; familiarity with time-series forecasting is a strong plus.
- Experience with ML/AI tools such as PyTorch or TensorFlow is a plus.
- Experience with big data processing using PySpark or Databricks is a plus.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker is a plus.
