JOB SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE: Under the supervision of the Director, of Technology, the key roles are to Identify, organize, and curate a large collection of 3D images data (100s of Terabytes) that is currently in disarray and mostly undocumented. To excel in this key role, you must be able communicate clearly.
ESSENTAL FUNCTIONS:
- Propose a methodology, hardware, and software, for creating non-local mirror images of this data library.
- Ingest new data collections as they arrive from the field or are generated in-house.
- Create, maintain, and distribute documentation about the date library s organization and methods of access.
- Manage hardware assets of Algorithms Team. Workstations, GPUs, memory, and peripherals.
- Manage and document algorithm code repository.
- Manage off-site ground-truthing personnel, training, improving process and methods.
- Managing baseline statistics of released algorithms. (Speed, Pd, Pfa, etc.)
- May include other duties as assigned and/or special projects.
QUALIFICATIONS - EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Associate degree in Engineering, computer science or similar or 2 years industry experience.
- Experience with large qualities of data.
- Experience in programming with C, C++, Python or similar.
- Experience with Database queries, SQL or similar.
WORK AUTHORIZATION/SECURITY CLEARANCE:
- No special clearances required.
