Job Description

Job Description: Conduct organizational studies and evaluations, design systems and procedures, and conduct work simplification and measurement studies to optimize operations. This role involves assisting management in enhancing operational efficiency and effectiveness, focusing on supporting federal program management and business operations, particularly in compliance with DHS policies and cybersecurity frameworks. The analyst will work closely with teams to improve processes, ensure compliance, and streamline operations. Includes program analysts and management consultants.

Security Clearance: This position requires an active Secret security clearance.

Years Experience: 3 or more years of experience in the following tasks and responsibilities.

Job Overview:

  • Analyze business or operating procedures to identify the most efficient methods of accomplishing work in a government or cybersecurity policy setting.
  • Plan studies of work challenges and procedures, such as organizational change, communications, policy compliance, and cost analysis.
  • Collect and organize information on existing procedures and identify gaps in DHS programs or cybersecurity compliance.
  • Develop solutions or recommend alternate methods to optimize procedures, focusing on alignment with federal mandates.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Organize and document findings of studies and prepare recommendations for implementation of new systems,

procedures or organizational changes.

  • Confer with personnel concerned to ensure the smooth functioning of newly implemented systems or procedures.
  • Install new systems where applicable and train personnel in their application.
  • Conduct operational effectiveness reviews to ensure program compliance and effectiveness in cybersecurity and related functional areas.
  • Develop or update operational manuals to ensure alignment with DHS policies and federal cybersecurity guidelines.
