SUMMARY

As a member of the software and support team you will play a key role in many aspects of the product development & implementation lifecycle, including research, analysis, design, coding, and testing of our custom software.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time.

  • JDE Experience with the following modules: Procurement, Financials, A/P , A/R, Inventory Control, and Job Costing.
  • Extensive experience in JD Edwards Enterprise One Toolset including interactive application, report writing, BSFN, NER, and Interface design, development, and maintenance.
  • Participate in design reviews and code walk-throughs. Develop software that is extremely reliable, robust, and traceable.
  • Analyzing complex functions, procedures, and problems to deliver creative, logical, and effective solutions that meet the specified requirements.
  • Apply unit tests, automation, and tools to produce the highest quality code long before anyone gets to test.
  • Participate in system-level activities such as integration and system test as required.
  • Communicate project/work status orally, written, or other as required.
  • Tracking software bug reports, including performing root cause analyses and attempting bug fixes.
  • Documenting design process and reporting development progress at regular intervals.
  • Create and teach end use training.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • College or University graduate with a Computer Information Systems (or similar program).
  • Strong Knowledge and experience with the JDE Tools (C#,), Java, C++ HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, XML, SharePoint, SQL and Crystal reporting. MS Windows 11, Windows Server 2016/2019, Office 365, SQL 2016/2019.
  • Experience using JDE development tools (NER,TDA,FDA,RDA,NER) to customize applications based on business needs.
  • Works effectively to enhance our recent implementation of JDE 9.2.
  • 4-6 years of experience with application development in a Microsoft environment, Visual Studio, C#, Java, WebForms, and Crystal Reporting.
  • Experience with SQL development is essential. Experience writing reports with Business Objects / Crystal Reports. Ensure designs comply with specifications. Prepare and produce releases of software components.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team: When working independently, the ability to see a project through to completion while keeping the Manager apprised of the progress.
  • Ability to work with a diverse group of people, and to modify work style accordingly.
  • Ability to prioritize when working under deadlines with multiple projects.
  • Organized, focused and persistent - ability to work to the plan and meet delivery dates.
