Splunk Consultant

DTI has an immediate need for an experienced IT Solutions Analyst to lead a critical assessment and transition project aimed at replacing Splunk for a 3 month contract.

The ideal candidate will document the current solution, define future state requirements, and develop a vendor recommendation supported by a business case. This role will include roadmap creation for both tactical implementation and the cutover process.
Must work on our W2 Consultant can expect travel to Houston, TX and Little Rock AK for 2 days per trip
Project Details:

1. Scope
1. Document the current state solution, including integrations and business use cases.
2. Define the future state requirements
3. Facilitate and recommend the future state vendor to replace Splunk (e.g. Google, Microsoft, etc). This includes business case development to support our recommendation.
4. Define the tactical and longer-term roadmap to implement and cutover from Splunk to the future state solution.

3. Timeline – Expected start February 1 ^st . 10-12 weeks duration.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Document current state architecture, integrations, and use cases.
2. Define future state solution requirements.
3. Analyze and recommend vendors (e.g., Google, Microsoft) through business case development.
4. Create a detailed implementation and transition roadmap.

Timeline:

• Start Date: February 1st
• Duration: 10-12 weeks

Qualifications:

• Experience with enterprise IT solutions and Splunk or similar platforms.
• Proven expertise in business case development and vendor evaluations.
• Strong analytical and documentation skills.
• Ability to create actionable implementation roadmaps.

Pay rate: $60-$125hr based on relevant experience
