Description

SAIC is seeking a GEOINT Systems Engineer to provide Systems Engineer Technical Advisor (SETA) services for a critical position the Landmark GSS program in Chantilly, VA. Landmark GSS supports the NRO's Ground Enterprise Directorate (GED), responsible for the acquisition of systems over the complete end-to-end life cycle.

As a GEOINT Systems Engineer, will be performing the following functions as a Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) within Space and Mission Engineering by defining and reviewing Requirements or Agile Epics, analyze architecture and interfaces, and coordinate tests and transitions of software into operations.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Create Requests for Changes (RFCs) and assess impacts.
  • Develop and update Solution Epics
  • Prioritize Agile Solution Increments and Program Increments
  • Manage Working Groups and hold Technical Exchange Meetings (TEMs)
  • Update Interface Control Documents (ICDs)
  • Communicate Ground Software Deliveries to external stakeholders.
  • Plan and assess Agile Solution Demos

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's and nine (9) years or more experience; Masters and seven (7) years or more experience; PhD or JD and four (4) years or more experience.
  • Active Top Secret/SCI with Poly
  • Experience with Systems Engineering requirements, architecture, and verification/validation (V&V), or transition processes.
  • Experience with the acquisition of software development contracts or SETA/acquisition experience with GEOINT or SIGINT
  • Strong representational, oral, and written communications skills, including the ability to produce clear, logical, and concise products.
  • Proven organization and interpersonal skills, and demonstrated ability to interface effectively via written and oral forums with personnel at all levels of government.
  • Knowledge of SAFe or Agile frameworks
